Short version: we keep what you give us, we use it to answer you, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
What you type into a form on this site. Asking a listed company about availability: your name, your email address, and your company and message if you add them. Claiming a listing: your name, your work email and anything you tell us we got wrong. What you tell us by email, or in a message on our phone line. And what is public about the companies we list, which is what we check.
When somebody opens a company's page, we add one to that company's count for the day. No cookie is set and nothing about you is stored: what lands in our database is a company, a date and a number. We do not run advertising trackers here, and our emails carry no tracking pixel, so we cannot tell whether you opened one.
What we do with it
A question about availability comes to our own inbox first. We pass it to the company you asked about, with your email address, so they can reply to you directly. A claim is checked by a person, who writes back to the email you gave. We store both in our own database, which sits behind a login only we have.
Who else sees it
The company you ask about sees your message and your email address, so it can answer you. Beyond that, only the companies that run our plumbing, and only to the extent they have to: our database and email hosts, and our payment processor if you buy a partner slot. The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them, the way it asks for any file on a web page.
We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
What you send us, for as long as we need it to answer you and three years after. If you ask us to delete it, we do, except the one thing we must keep: if you asked us never to write to you again, we keep a note of that, so we cannot write to you by accident later. It is used for nothing else.
Getting rid of it
Email listings@texascriticaltrades.com and say what you want. To stop our emails to your company, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them. We honor it within 10 business days, and usually the same day.
